Nyan Heroes combines crypto and cats and a Fortnite-similar contest on Solana, with major moves seemingly this year.
In the past, crypto and cats have been a winning combination. Nyan Heroes developers are confident it will hit again with a non-fungible token (NFT)-backed online game. Further, they will be in view of a possibly sizeable market owing to a listing on the Epic Games Store.
Features of Nyan Heroes Shooter Game
A Thursday announcement by Nyan Heros revealed that the forthcoming PC battle royale shooter will be unveiled through the famous marketplace. Currently, a ‘coming soon’ page can be seen through the Epic Games Store.
An official release date for the free-to-play shooter, which comprises feline heroes commanding immense mech suits in combat, has not been disclosed.
Examples of famous games on the market include PUBG, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. Every game groups several players into a big game map, and the playable space is slowly closed off. This compels participants to become closer as they fight for survival and become the remaining team or player still standing.
Nyan Heroes was developed on the Solana Blockchain and unveiled different non-fungible tokens on the chain earlier. This includes various profile pictures whose price has risen since the revelation of the news.
Solana Improves Gaming Feature
Further, Developer 9 Lives Interactive hints at some form of airdrop for community members. However, it is uncertain if it will come as crypto or non-fungible tokens.
Several other games and crypto projects have unveiled and airdropped tokens as the vast market attempts to recover from a protracted slump.
Using its official X (formerly Twitter) account, it was revealed that the game’s first airdrop for this year is imminent and will be impressive. It also requested support from the public.
Solana hosts several other non-fungible tokens and crypto games. This includes play-to-earn games such as Stepn, Ev.io, and Aurory, allowing players to accumulate token rewards.
